DM addressed public complaints in Chowki Chaura

District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaish presided over the weekly Block Day program at SDM office Chowki Chaura on Wednesday, where he interacted with the public and their representatives and heard their issues and demands.
The event, which was also attended by DDC member Suresh Sharma and other senior officials, was aimed at providing a platform to the people to air their concerns and aspirations directly to the officials and get their grievances redressed.
One of the major issues proposed was the land acquisition and compensation process. Another issue that was brought to the attention of the DM was the requirement of teaching staff and upgradation of infrastructure of Higher Secondary School Chowki Chaura and other local schools.
Poor mobile network connectivity was another major complaint raised by the public. The issue of provision of ration cards was raised by some members of the public. Health facilities and their accessibility was another hot topic of discussion.
The DM assured the public that the administration will work tirelessly to resolve these issues and provide them better facilities and services. He also took note of the PT teacher’s demand and sought a solution to it.
Interacting with the public, the DM encouraged them to support their children and be vigilant about their studies and the quality of education being provided in local schools. He called on parents and guardians to inspire the youth and keep them away from negative influences and especially the menace of drugs.
The officials present on the occasion included Additional District Development Commissioner Sher Singh, Chief Planning Officer Uttam Singh, SDM Varinder Gupta, Tehsildar, Block Development Officer and other district officers and employees.
