Do not eat these three things with tea even by mistake, your body will become hollow.
For us Indians, tea is not just a beverage but much more than that. Be it happiness or sorrow, tea is our true companion. There are many people who crave for tea as soon as they open their eyes in the morning. This brings agility to the body. Often tea lovers eat something or the other with tea like tea-biscuits, tea-pakodas, tea-namkeen. And this is where we start playing with health. Yes, often people consume some things along with tea as a hobby, which causes great harm to their health. Certified nutritionist Disha Sethi has shared information about this through her Instagram post. Let us know which things should not be consumed with tea.
What should not be eaten with tea?
nuts
Experts say that dry fruits should never be consumed with tea. This is because tea contains tannins. These tannins hinder the absorption of iron and other essential nutrients from food. Due to this the body is not supplied with nutrients. Nuts are rich in iron (these symptoms are seen due to iron deficiency). Therefore, consumption of nuts along with nut tea should be avoided. It may have negative effects instead of benefits. In such a situation, you can consume nuts separately.
green vegetables
According to experts, one should avoid consuming green vegetables with tea. Because green vegetables are rich in iron and tea contains tannins which hinder the absorption of essential nutrients. Many people consume tea with bread and vegetables, in such a situation the nutrients in that food get lost.
Turmeric
One should also avoid drinking tea with food made from turmeric. The tannins present in turmeric and tea are not compatible with each other. This affects digestion (measures to make the digestive system healthy). You may have to face problems like acidity and bloating.
