1 Do not keep two pictures of the same God:

2 Fragmented Statue :
Having a defect here brings bad effects on all the members of the house. According to Vastu science, do not keep ‘broken idol’ in the house even by mistake. According to Vastu Shastra, such idols increase the negative energy in the house. On the other hand, according to classical beliefs, worshiping broken idols angers the deities. That’s why try not to keep a broken idol in the house, if you see a broken idol from somewhere, get it repaired as soon as possible or replace it and install a new idol with complete rituals.
3 The exact location of the temple:
According to Vastu Shastra, make the place of worship in the north or east direction of the house. South or west direction can be inauspicious. Do not keep two conch shells in the temple of the house even by mistake.
Do not keep 4 very big idols:
Do not keep a big idol of any deity for worship in the temple built in your home. Even if you want to keep a Shivling in your temple, then the size of the Shivling should be the size of the thumb. Shivling is very sensitive, because of this it is always considered appropriate to keep a small Shivling in the temple.
There should not be any toilet around the temple:
Do not make toilets above the house of worship or next to it. Keep in mind that the temple should not be kept in the kitchen of the house. It has been said wrong in Vastu Shastra.
