According to the scriptures, do not eat vindictive food even by mistake on the full moon of Sawan. On this day, distance should be kept from garlic, onion, non-veg, alcohol etc. Also, on this day no one should be sent empty-handed from their door, but must donate something to them. Apart from this, one should not sleep till late in the morning on the full moon day in the month of Sawan. Rather get up early and take a bath in a holy river. After this, worship of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu with Lord Shiva should be done according to the rules and regulations. By doing this you get the best results.
