Doctors do not write the name of medicine in clear letters, Collector is strict on complaints

Bilaspur. Bilaspur Collector has issued an order to doctors to write the names of medicines in English capital letters. This order was issued after a pregnant woman suffered a miscarriage due to wrong medicine being given to her in the medical store of Red Cross Society in Sims. He has asked to implement this order immediately.

An employee of the Red Cross Medical Store had given abortion medicine to the pregnant woman instead of Baby Growth, after consuming which the woman’s health deteriorated and she miscarried. The woman and her husband had complained about this matter to the collector. The matter was investigated and it was found that the Red Cross employee had given the wrong medicine.

Investigation has also revealed that doctors do not write the names of medicines in neat and clear letters, due to which many times even the medical store employees are unable to understand the names of the medicines. At the same time, the patient buying the medicine or his family members are also unable to get the medicine mixed with the prescription. This is the reason why the Collector took the matter seriously.
