The film collected 284 crores in the first week, 134 crores in the second week, 63 crores in the third week, 27 crores in the fourth week and 7 crores in the fifth week at the domestic box office. According to reports, the film directed by Anil Sharma will be released on Zee5 on October 6. Zee5 has purchased the rights of the film. This means that after theaters, viewers will now be able to enjoy the film on digital medium over the top (OTT) platforms as well. ‘Gadar 2’ is the sequel of 2001’s ‘Gadar’.
