Double murder, killed elder brother’s wife and son
Mahasamund: In Paterapali of the district, a young man killed his sister-in-law and her five-year-old son. The incident is reported to have taken place at 8.30 pm last night. The team of SP Dharmendra Singh and Additional SP Akash Rao is busy investigating the incident. According to the police, the accused is absconding since the incident. On Tuesday night at around 9 pm, applicant Gaindu Thakur (35) reached Komakhan police station and told the police that his brother Pokharam Thakur, under the influence of alcohol, had murdered his sister-in-law Tulsi Thakur and her five-year-old son Kamlesh Thakur with a sharp weapon.
As soon as the information was received, the Komakhan police team reached the spot. The dead bodies of mother and son were lying in the applicant’s house in village Paterapali. There was blood on the ground all around. Police is interrogating her husband Gaind Lal Thakur. The bodies of both mother and son have been sent for post-mortem after Panchnama. The applicant says that the brother was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident yesterday. He killed his wife Tulsi Thakur (31) and son Kamlesh Thakur (5) in a fatal attack with a sharp weapon and ran away. On the basis of evidence found by the police after investigation, a crime under section 302 of Indian Penal Code has been registered and taken into consideration. The search for the accused is ongoing.
