Dozens of flights canceled in Britain due to Storm Kathleen

London: Storm Kathleen is wreaking havoc in the United Kingdom. Due to this, dozens of flights from Britain were cancelled. Thousands of passengers were stranded in Edinburgh, Belfast, Manchester and Birmingham. The Met Office has issued warnings for England, as well as parts of Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It is reported that more than 130 flights departing and arriving at UK airports were canceled due to the bad weather. Temperatures also increased across Britain due to the storm, which is expected to last till Sunday. In addition to flights, rail and ferry services in Scotland have also been affected. The Environment Agency has issued 14 alerts where there is a risk of flooding. According to The Guardian report, the Met Office has warned that waves rising from the sea could reach shores, coastal roads and houses, causing loss of life and property.
