Dysentery spreads in Sambalpur, 1 dead, 39 hospitalized

Sambalpur: Dysentery has spread in Sambalpur, Odisha, one person has died and 39 people are hospitalized. Fever spread in Mohammadpur of Sambalpur district of Odisha. One person has died while 39 people are infected.

All the infected are being treated. Of the other 38 people, 4 have been admitted to Burla VIMSAR. The deceased has been identified as Ravi Tirkey. According to the information, diarrhea has been spreading since October 13. Today five more people have been infected, the condition of four of them is critical. On the other hand, after this incident, two medical teams have camped in the area and are engaged in treatment. All other infected persons have been admitted to the Community Health Center (CHC).
