E-rickshaw theft in Tikrapara

Raipur: An e-rickshaw was stolen in broad daylight in Raipur within a few minutes. The driver parked the e-rickshaw and went to a medical store to get change. When he looked back, someone had stolen his e-rickshaw. Tikrapara police has registered an FIR.

Sheikh Sajid told the police that he lives in Santoshi Nagar. He works as an e-rickshaw driver. He drives an e-rickshaw by renting it from another person. He had reached Santoshi Nagar Road before Gokul Nagar turn with his e-rickshaw. There he parked his rickshaw on the roadside and went to a medical store to get change.

When he returned after a few minutes, his e-rickshaw was not parked there. Someone had stolen the vehicle, after which the whole matter reached Tikrapara police station. Where the police have registered an FIR. The police is now investigating the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the surrounding areas.
