EC notice to CM Jagan for remarks against Naidu
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) on Sunday criticized Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. For making inappropriate remarks about Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister Y.S. Ramaiah cited speeches given by Jagan Mohan Reddy in public meetings at various places in the state. In one of his speeches, Jagan Mohan Reddy had reportedly called TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu a habitual criminal and alleged that Naidu had made it his profession to cheat people. The Election Commission said that after investigating the complaint and looking at the speeches made in the pen drive, it was found that the said posts were, prima facie, in violation of the instructions of the Model Code of Conduct.
