Eknath Shinde criticized for inviting Elvish Yadav in puja
Mumbai: Opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra condemned the presence of “a suspected drug addict” at the official residence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde during Ganeshotsav. The man is none other than Bigg Boss OTT-2 winner Elvish Yadav who was reportedly invited to the CM residence along with other celebrities.
YouTuber and social media influencer Siddharth alias Elvish Yadav was seen performing aarti at the CM’s house during Ganeshotsav on September 25.
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and Congress’s Vijay Wadettiwar said on Friday that a drug addict like Elvish Yadav was not only present, but the CM also welcomed him and honored him with a shawl and coconut.
He said, “The CM had invited Elvish Yadav to ‘Varsha’ bungalow…and now, he (Elvish) has been booked by the police for the serious crime of making, consuming and selling medicines made from snake venom. Is.”
Shiv Sena-UBT deputy leader Sushma Andhare wanted to know how the person accused of making medicine from snake venom reached the CM’s bungalow and who gave the permission.
State Congress chief spokesperson Atul Londhe demanded to know why there was presence of Elvish Yadav as a “special invitee” in the high security zone.
“A case has been registered by Noida Police against Elvish Yadav, who organized rave parties using poisonous snakes, and live poisonous snakes have also been recovered,” he said.
Nationalist Congress Party-SP national spokesperson Clyde Crasto wondered whether the Chief Minister was so busy in self-promotion that a person with such a background managed to get inside ‘Varsha’.
He asked, “If the credentials of such a person allegedly involved with banned substances like snake venom are not properly verified, then what guarantee is there to the safety of the general public with such elements roaming freely?”
Wadettiwar asked whether the CM was trying to promote a ‘drunk man’ like Elvish Yadav as a ‘role model’ for the youth of the state and inviting a person who uses derogatory language against women. Uses.
Londhe reminded that during the tenure of former CM Devendra Fadnavis, in 2016, photographs of Pune’s dreaded gangster Kamlakar alias Baba Bodke had surfaced with him, which had created an uproar.
In a sensational development today, Elvish Yadav has been booked by Noida Police for supplying snakes and poison for a rave party. Nine snakes have also been recovered.
Based on a complaint filed by the NGO, People for Animals (PFA), police raided a party hall and arrested five people, although Elvish Yadav has denied the allegations, and is believed to be absconding.
