Election officer suspended Pradhan Pathak

Sarangarh-Bilaigarh: Under the assembly election year 2023, Jagmohan Lal Premi, Pradhan Pathak, Government Primary School, Kaitha, Bhatapara has been suspended by Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui due to negligence in election related responsibilities. Jagmohan did not discharge the responsibilities assigned to him in the assembly general elections, as a result of which he has been presented for disciplinary action due to negligence.

The said act is punishable as it is contrary to the provisions of Rule (03) of Chhattisgarh Civil Services Conduct Rules 1965. In the order issued, Chhattisgarh Civil Service (Classification Control and Appeal) Rules 1966 has been suspended with immediate effect under Rule 09, 1(a). During the suspension period, their headquarters has been fixed at the office of District Education Officer, Sarangarh. Jagmohan will be paid subsistence allowance as per rules during the period of suspension.
