Elvish Yadav appeared before the police
Noida (ANI): Bigg Boss winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav appeared before the Noida Police late on Tuesday night in a snake poisoning case.
Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Harish Chander said, “YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav appeared before Noida Police late night in the snake venom case. The police have called him again.”
This matter has come to light after Elvish’s name was included along with five other people in the FIR registered in this case. Five of those alleged accused have been arrested by the police.
Noida Police had sent a notice to Yadav on Tuesday in connection with the case.
An FIR has been registered at Noida Sector 49 police station against six people including Elvish Yadav for supplying snake venom at a rave party in Noida.
The case was transferred from Noida’s Sector 49 police station to Sector 20 police station on the orders of Gautam Budh Nagar Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh.
Speaking on the matter, Uttar Pradesh Environment Minister Arun Saxena said, ‘The law will take its course and no celebrity is above the law.’
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday said he had no influence on the proceedings of the case and stressed that police would take action if Elvish was found guilty.
Meanwhile, the YouTuber has denied his involvement in supplying snake venom to the rave party.
Elvish denied the allegations against him in a personal YouTube video on 4 November, saying he was ready to surrender if found involved in the case.
“When I woke up, I saw the FIR in which it was written that Maneka Gandhi’s NGO (People for Animals) had filed this case. The woman was saying that I roam around with a snake around my neck. That was all for the shooting.” One song and nothing else. I will not spoil the name of myself and my family by getting involved in all these illegal activities. If I have even one percent involvement in this case, I will surrender myself, whether the punishment is 10 years or 100 years. Elvish said, everyone knows that my level has not fallen so low that I would do this kind of thing. (ANI)
