Under the Online Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for the year 2022-23, the scholarship of the students is being paid through Direct Beneficiary Transfer by the Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi. Under this scheme, the scholarship amount will be transferred to the students’ account only after seeding the students’ bank account number from Aadhaar and enabling NPCI mapping. Registration / acceptance and payment of SC, ST and OBC Post Matric Scholarship (college level) is being done through the departmental portal https://postmatric-scholarship.cg.nic.in/. As per the rules of the Government of India, Aadhaar based scholarship is being paid to the students through PFMS, in which seeding of the bank account of the students with Aadhaar is mandatory. Due to non-aadhar seeding of the bank account of the students, it is not possible to pay the scholarship. Such students of the year 2022-23, whose scholarship has not been paid, can immediately get their personal bank account seeded Aadhaar and contact the Office of the Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Collectorate Complex, Sarangarh by May 24, 2023. It will not be possible to make payment of scholarship to the concerned in case of not giving the information of Aadhaar seeding till the stipulated time.
