Encounter in Bijapur, jawans intensify search operation

Bijapur. On Saturday morning, a joint party of security forces had an encounter with Naxalites in Potenar forests. There is no news of any casualty in the encounter. Security forces personnel are searching in the area. According to the information received from the police, a joint party of Bastar Fighter, DRG and CRPF 222 was sent on information about the presence of Naxalites in the forests and mountains of village Potenar and Keshamundi of Jangla police station area of Bijapur district between 7 am and 7.30 am on Saturday.

Meanwhile, there was an encounter between 10-15 Naxalites of Bhairamgarh Area Committee. Till the filing of the report in the afternoon, there was no news of any casualty in the encounter. Search operation is going on in the area after the encounter.
