Enjoy Hyderabadi Biryani for just Rs 2

Hyderabad: In the vibrant and rich tapestry of Indian cuisine, one dish that stands out is biryani. Now this extremely hot, tasty and aromatic iguana can be enjoyed in Hyderabad for just Rs 2. Yes, you saw it right. Customers visiting Naidu Gari Kunda Biryani, a multi-cuisine restaurant which has branches in KPHB, Gachibowli and Dilsukhnagar, can taste vegetable or non-vegetable biryani for just Rs 2. However, there is a problem with this offer. This is only for customers who come with only Rs 2 notes and is applicable on one biryani per person. This restaurant, which was launched a month ago, has now received notes worth Rs 120.2. “Let’s launch this protocol to verify that people still have Rs 2 notes. So far, the response has been good”, says restaurant owner J Manohar. The multi-cuisine restaurant has a large variety of biryani, including Dum Vegetable, Frango and Carneiro’s Biryani, Frango Mughlai’s Biryani, Frango Dilkush’s Biryani, Japanese Kamju Pitta’s Biryani, Fish and Camaro’s Biryani. These biryani come in three portions – single, family and family, which are enough for one, two and four people respectively. Earlier, the restaurant had launched a challenge for gourmets to win a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh for completing their Baahubali thali made up of over 30 types of food items in just 30 minutes. The thali includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes like Franco Biryani, Camaro Curry, Macarao Schezwan along with salads, raita and drinks. This thali, enough for three to four people, is priced at Rs 1,999. So far, only seven people have won the challenge, which is still open to subscribers.
