Everyone falls in love with Motichoor’s laddus, it still gives a tough competition to all other sweets
Laddus have been ruling our hearts for many years. This is a very old sweet. The taste of what was once the number one sweet of wedding ceremonies still fascinates people. Even though many types of sweet dishes have come today, the importance of laddus remains. At present our focus is on Motichoor laddu. These are very tasty to eat and are so soft that they melt as soon as you put them in the mouth. No one else can compete with these laddus made in desi ghee. It does not take much effort to make it at home. To make it, large quantities of desi ghee, gram flour and milk are used. Ingredients 2 cups gram flour 1 tsp green cardamom ½ tsp edible food color 1 liter milk 6 cups ghee 1 pinch baking soda 3 cups sugar 4 cups water Method – First of all make sugar syrup. For this, heat water by placing a big pan on medium flame. – Add sugar to it and stir until it melts completely. – Let it boil. Then add milk and cook on low flame for 5 minutes. – If foam appears while boiling, remove it. Then cook until it becomes a uniform consistency. After this, add cardamom powder and orange food color to it and stir slowly and keep it aside. Now mix gram flour and milk in a big bowl until it becomes soft. – Add baking soda to it and mix well. Now heat ghee in a deep frying pan. Now with the help of a ladle, make a hole just above the oil and pour some batter into it. – Put it in hot oil and cook it until it becomes golden and soft. – Place it on a tissue to remove excess oil. Now add it to sugar syrup and mix well. – Leave them to cool and make small and medium sized laddus from it. If you want, you can serve it immediately or keep it in an airtight container for later.
