EVM sealed amid tight security
Manendragarh : In the presence of General Observer Lalit Mohan Rayal, Collector and District Election Officer Narendra Kumar Dugga, Returning Officer, candidates and their representatives appointed for the assembly elections, all the polling stations of Bharatpur-Sonhat 1 and Manendragarh 2 assembly constituencies were used for voting. EVMs have been sealed in the strong room. Videography of this entire process was also done.
The strong room will be monitored 24×7 by security personnel. CCTVs have been installed to monitor the strong room. It may be noted that the strong room for both the assemblies of the district has been built in the warehouse of Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation (CGSWC) near the Collectorate. On which the soldiers will keep a close watch.
