Ex principal, 3 professors booked in suicide case of a GS college professor

NAGPUR : A case has been registered against former principal of G S college N Y Khandait along with three other professors in connection with the suicide of professor Gajanan Karale.

45-year-old Gajanan Karale, a professor in GS College, committed suicide by hanging himself on Sunday. He has also written a suicide note in which he mentioned said that he took the extreme step because of the harassment done by the college management. Names of five-six professors were written in the suicide note.

Karale’s son-in-law Nilesh Ronghe filed a complaint at Beltarodi police station. The police conducted a preliminary investigation into the matter. A case of abetment to suicide has been registered against former principal N Y Khandait, Bachchu Pandey, Bhavna Gattuwar and Tausik Pathan.
