Excise department destroys old liquor worth 13 crores

Ghaziabad. The Ghaziabad Excise Department destroyed liquor worth Rs 13 crore on Friday. This liquor was deposited in the warehouse located in Dasna. This is the biggest warehouse in West Uttar Pradesh. The liquor was completely destroyed by running a road roller inside the warehouse. According to the information, the Excise Department had kept the old liquor of 2019-20 from all over Ghaziabad in its warehouse located in Dasna. The Excise Department completely destroyed this old liquor. So that it does not reach the market again. The cost of liquor is said to be around 13 crores. This is the liquor that is present in liquor shops and factories. It cannot be sold. After its expiry, the liquor is seized by the Excise Department and kept in its warehouse. The liquor is destroyed after getting permission from the department.
