Excise staff confiscated illegal liquor
Dhamtari. On the instructions of Collector Namrata Gandhi, continuous action is being taken against illegal liquor in the district. In this episode, today, under the guidance of District Excise Officer Shri Prabhakar Sharma, 95 liters of Mahua liquor was seized while taking action in Nagari Block near Mudhaur Nala of Village Saloni.
About 1800 kg of Mahua Lahan was seized and destroyed. Along with this, action was taken against the unknown accused under Section 34 (2), 34 (1) C of the Excise Act. On this occasion, Assistant District Excise Officer Praduman Netam, Excise Sub Inspector Ajay Markande, Dayaram Gote, Ashish Dhruv, Excise Head Constable Murali Soni, Rajesh Yadav, Excise Constable Prashant Yadav and other officers and employees were present.
