Facebook friend made a plan and looted Rs 10700, mobile and bike, case registered
Sambhal: On Tuesday, in village Rajheda Salempur of Kailadevi police station area of Sambhal, a Facebook friend called and looted the bike, mobile and cash. The victim reached the police station and informed about the incident. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a report against Mohit, Sumit and two other unknown people. The police is searching for the accused. Police say that the victim’s statement has been recorded.
Manjar Jamal, son of Idris Ahmed, resident of Mohalla Dehli Darbaja of Kotwali area Sambhal, had befriended a young man named Mohit through Facebook three months ago. Gradually their friendship grew and they started talking to each other every day. Mohit had told Jamal about his sweets shop and asked him to do a new business. To which Jamal agreed. Mohit lured Jamal that the new business would yield good income.
Told that on Tuesday evening Mohit called Jamal to the petrol pump located in Saundhan. After that Mohit brought Jamal to village Rajhera Salempur in the police station area. Where Mohit’s friend Sumit went from there on the pretext of getting some things and Mohit stood near him on the side of the highway. Then two people riding a bike came and started beating Jamal. During the fight, they ran away with Rs 10,700, a mobile and a Pulsar bike from Jamal’s pocket.
The victim informed the police about the incident from the spot. On receiving information, police also reached the spot. The police investigated the matter, but nothing could be found. After that the victim reached the police station and lodged a complaint with the police. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a report against Mohit, Sumit and two other unknown people. The victim also gave information about what happened on Facebook.
