Fake crime branch constable arrested, used to loot people
Bilaspur. In Bilaspur, a case of looting money from a young man riding a car has come to light by posing as a constable of Crime Branch. The car rider was getting the headlights repaired with two of his acquaintances. Then three youths came and took the car rider with them. By stopping the car on the way, the alleged constables of the crime branch looted one lakh 88 thousand rupees from it and got two lakh rupees transferred online by intimidation. The incident happened four days ago, the complaint of which has now been lodged in the police station. The whole matter is of Civil Line police station area. Sarangarh: Puniram Patel’s father Bhagat Ram Patel, a resident of village Maldi in Bilaigarh district, while complaining at the Civil Line police station, said that he had lent one lakh 90 thousand rupees to Takhatpur resident Karan Patel for his sister’s marriage. On August 4, Karan Patel called him to Takhatpur to return the borrowed money. On which he reached near the petrol pump in his car with driver Siyaram Yadav and his acquaintance. Where Karan Patel was found and returned one lakh 90 thousand rupees taken on loan.
Out of which he filled petrol worth two thousand rupees. Then returned to Bilaspur from there. Puniram told the police that the trio stopped at Rajendra Nagar Chowk in Bilaspur to get their car headlights repaired. At the same time, three youths came and sat in the car, posing as crime branch constables. Then took all three to Sakri Road. Where they stopped the car in the middle of the way and started threatening to implicate them. During this, the alleged constables of Crime Branch looted one lakh 88 thousand rupees kept with them. At the same time, by threatening the driver and his acquaintance, they got two lakh rupees transferred online from their mobile. The victim told that after this incident they were scared, due to which they had returned to the village. Then after returning from the village, he informed about this incident in Civil Line Police Station. The complainant has demanded to search for the accused on the basis of online transaction and register a case against them. Civil Line TI Parivesh Tiwari says that prima facie this matter looks suspicious. The victim has come alone to the police station and complained, on which he has been asked to call his two other companions as well. Along with this, information is also being collected about the youths who have taken the money. The secret of this matter can be revealed only after the investigation.
