Fake custom inspector arrested, used to take money by trapping girls on matrimonial site

Noida (IANS) | Noida Police has arrested a fake custom inspector. He used to take money from the girls on the matrimonial site by trapping them in talks. Not only this, he used to take loan from her ID on the pretext of marriage. The police arrested this fake inspector from near Sector-34 metro station. Fake card of Indian Customs Service and Income Tax Department has been recovered from its possession. Police has identified him as Som Dutt Kaushik alias Rakshit alias Sonu resident of Faridabad (Haryana). He used to register on the matrimonial site by changing his name. It has made many girls its victims. The police is probing his criminal record.

In fact, a young woman had given a complaint in Police Station Sector-49 that recently a person named Rakshit Kaushik contacted her from the matrimonial site Jeevansathi. He introduced himself as a custom inspector. After that started talking. He pretended to be married. Then one day he asked for money by doing emotional blackmail saying he was a compulsion at home. The victim gave him some money. Then the accused cheated a total of 8 lakh 75 thousand rupees by taking a loan on the ID of the victim. When the victim asked him for money, he started threatening to kill her. A mobile has also been recovered from him, he used to make ID from the same phone.
