Fake notes worth crores seized, police took major action

Greater Noida. Police station Dankaur, while exposing the DK gang which was committing fraud by passing off bundles of paper that look like real notes, recovered 469 original 500 rupee notes worth Rs 2,34,500 and bundles of paper cut to the size of real notes and other equipment. While doing so, three accused have been arrested. Police have arrested Vishal Chauhan, Mobin Khan and Upendra Singh. A total of 469 genuine notes of Rs 500 each, filled in 8 iron boxes and bundles of printed paper looking like genuine notes, a laptop, a note counting machine, a note bundle making machine have been recovered from their possession. .

The police team saw two suspicious persons in the night. One of them was carrying a bag on his back. The police team caught Vishal and Mobin Khan and on their information, their third associate Upendra Singh was arrested. When searched, there was a bundle of ten Rs 500 notes in Vishal Chauhan’s bag. In the said bundle, there were a total of two genuine notes of Rs 500 at the top and bottom and apart from two notes of Rs 500, the remaining notes in that bundle were fake paper notes. On their investigation, 8 iron boxes kept behind nearby bushes were recovered. A total of 165 bundles of Rs 500 notes (1,650 bundles were found in the bag) were found in all the boxes. All these bundles of notes also had genuine Rs 500 notes stuck on some top and bottom and some on only one side. Apart from this, an electronic note counting machine and an electronic machine for making bundles of notes were also recovered.

Police interrogation revealed that this is an organized gang. Which is run by Lucknow resident Pravesh Kumar Singh alias DK. Pravesh alias DK is luring small companies and NGOs and assuring them of funding the NGOs. After getting full consent from the company and the NGO, the accused Vishal Chauhan, Mobin Khan, Upendra Singh and others are sent to the company and the NGO by making them managers of their company and deals are made by showing the recovered money.

These people used to lure everyone that they would fund the entire money. But, for this you will have to pay ten percent of the money first and have a condition that if you do not complete the paperwork within an hour then we will not return your ten percent of the money. In this way, after collecting ten percent of the agreed funding amount, these people used to go away with fake money. The vicious people were going from Delhi to Lucknow on Sunday night with boxes full of money. Due to the car breaking down, they hid the boxes in the bushes. The amount recovered from them was being defrauded by showing the actual amount of Rs 2,34,500 as Rs 8,30,00,000.
