Fan misbehaved with son in the market, actress got angry
Pune: Marathi film and television actress Urmila Nimbalkar recently shared a distressing encounter she had with a fan. This incident took place at Pune Street Market while she was out Diwali shopping with her husband, Sukirti, and their two-year-old son, Athang.
Expressing her feelings on social media, the actress recounted how, while they were purchasing sky lanterns, an unknown female fan suddenly approached them, grabbed Athang, and pinched his cheeks forcefully. Nimbalkar explained that the child became very frightened and began crying, which is entirely understandable given his age.
She went on to emphasize the concept of “Stranger Danger,” highlighting the importance of respecting personal boundaries, particularly with young children. Nimbalkar stressed that while it’s acceptable to express affection toward Athang after seeing him in videos or images, physically handling a 25-month-old baby without consent, taking photos, and pulling him close with unclean hands, while also resorting to name-calling, is both inappropriate and potentially unsafe.
Nimbalkar firmly stated, “If you’d like photos, that’s fine, but such behavior with a child is not acceptable to me.”
Urmila Nimbalkar is a renowned figure in Marathi films and television serials, and she has also made appearances in the Hindi serial “Diya Aur Baati Hum.” In addition to her acting career, she is active on social media and manages her YouTube channel, which boasts over one million subscribers.
