Farewell to former Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal
Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal is set to leave the state today, reports said on Friday.
A farewell ceremony was organized in his honor at Raj Bhavan/Governor House, Bhubaneswar.

Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal has made his special identity as the people’s Governor. During his tenure of 5 years and 5 months, he has left his special mark in Odisha.
It is true that the Governor was leading a simple life. Professor Ganeshi Lal always liked meeting people. That is why he is being called the Governor of the people of Odisha.
Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal toured the entire state of Odisha and was not limited to Raj Bhavan. He mingled with people from all walks of life. The former Governor of Odisha was a patron of arts and culture.
