Farmer died due to electrocution
Janjgir-Champa. A farmer has died due to electrocution in Kansa village of the district. The farmer was doing the work of making a ladder in the house, when the accident happened. Police has sent the dead farmer’s body for postmortem. The case is of Nawagarh police station area.
According to information, farmer Mote Lal Kashyap (35 years), a resident of village Kansa, was building a ladder in his own house. The ceiling was tinned right next to the ladder. The electric wire of the farmer’s house was adjacent to the tin. The power wire was cut at some place. Because of this, the current spread to the tin adjacent to the electric wire. The farmer got electrocuted in the tin and fainted and fell down the stairs.
The relatives saw him falling and hurriedly took him to the Community Health Center of Nawagarh. Here the doctor declared the farmer dead after investigation. On receiving information about the incident, Nawagarh police station reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. The investigating officer said that in the preliminary investigation, the farmer seems to have died due to electrocution. The real cause of death will be known after the postmortem report comes. After postmortem on Sunday, the dead body has been handed over to the relatives for the last rites.
