Farmer sleeping in tube well murdered with sharp weapon, creates chaos

Fatehpur. A farmer sleeping in a tube well was attacked and killed with a sharp weapon. Police reached the spot after receiving the information and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Police are investigating the matter.

Harishchandra Nishad, a resident of Roshanpur village of Jehanabad police station area, went to sleep on the tube well in the field located in Khairabad after having dinner at home as usual on Tuesday night. When he did not come home in the morning, the family reached the tube well. There Harishchandra was lying dead, soaked in blood.

There were marks of a sharp weapon on the neck. A crowd of villagers gathered at the incident site. The family members informed the police about the incident. Police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem.
