Due to Diphtheria disease, animals are suffering from high fever, swelling of the throat, then death of animals due to suffocation within 24 hours, in which adults and buffaloes are more affected.
In order to save the animals from this infection in a hurry, intensive vaccination has been intensified continuously by the team of veterinarians. On the other hand, calves up to four years of age are getting more affected by Ektangia disease. It is a contagious infectious disease. Due to its outbreak, farmers suffer a lot of economic loss. At present, for the prevention of this infection, the department is running an intensive vaccination program in the district to protect the farmers from this damage.
