Greater Noida: Farmers of 55 villages, who have been protesting for their demands for two months, will reach the gate of Greater Noida Authority on Tuesday and lock the gate. For the last two months, the patience of the farmers, who have been protesting in the Greater Noida Authority for their demands, has started breaking. Farmers have now come into the mode of fighting across the border. Farmers of more than 55 villages have once again taken a decision to storm the Greater Noida Authority office in a meeting held at Khodna Khurd. Bharatiya Kisan Mahasabha spokesperson Dr. Rupesh Verma said that an agreement was made between the Greater Noida Authority and the farmers on June 26. In this, a high power committee was said to be formed by June 30 regarding the demands of the farmers. It was also said that the committee will decide on the main issues of the farmers by 15th July. But on July 5, officials of the Greater Noida Authority told that the administration refused to form the High Power Committee. According to Dr. Rupesh Verma, thousands of farmers have been violated, in such a situation, they have no other way left except agitation. Farmers are continuously protesting for their many demands, but their main demand is that the deprived farmers should be given 10 percent population plots immediately. Also, a compensation of 4 times the circle rate, Rs 24,000 per square metre, should be announced.
