Farmers were encroaching in the forest, forest department took major action

Balrampur: Today, the Forest Department team has taken a major action in Gram Panchayat Baidi of Rajpur forest range of the district and they have confiscated the plows and nagar of 15 farmers. The villagers were plowing the forest land to encroach illegally. After receiving information from the forest guard, the forest range officer who reached the spot took this action.

Giving information about this entire matter, Forest SDO Ravi Shankar Srivastava said that the cases of encroachment on forests continuously increase during farming and rainy season. Forest team is working to stop them. In this context, today information was received from Gram Panchayat Baidi that 15 farmers are doing plowing work at different places due to which a large area of forest land is being affected. Immediately the Forest Department officials reached the spot and started taking action by seizing the plows and nagar of the farmers.
