Fatal attack on Congress leader, dragged from car and beaten, FIR registered

Bilaspur: The news of a fatal attack on senior Congress tribal leader Vidhiram Sidar has come to light in Nyayadhani Bilaspur. This evening, leader Vidhiram Sidar was attacked by two unknown assailants when he was going from Bolro to Khongsara village of Darbachli with his friend Rajeshwar Pandey. There was a lot of anger among Congress workers after this incident.

According to senior Congress tribal leader Vidhiram Sidar, two unknown youths pulled him from the Bolero and beat him. The faces of both the attackers were covered with clothes. Meanwhile, Rajeshwar Pandey, who was present with him, intervened. The attackers saw the opportunity and ran away. After this incident, the aggrieved Congress leaders have lodged a complaint at Belgana police station.
