Fed up with husband’s daily quarrels, wife consumed poison, died
Durg: Fed up with the daily quarrels of her husband, the woman embraced death. He got angry and ate rat poison. This worsened his health. He was immediately admitted to the hospital where he died during treatment. Mohan Nagar police is investigating the matter by setting up a marg.
Mohannagar TI Vijay Kumar Yadav said that Neha Singh (29), a resident of Saket Colony Katulboard Durg, had consumed rat poison on August 1. His health had worsened after consuming an excessive amount of medicine. He was admitted to Durg District Hospital in Anan Phanan. Due to lack of improvement there, he was admitted to Sri Shankaracharya Medical College Hospital, Bhilai. He was undergoing treatment here.
He died on the night of 4 August during treatment. Based on the memo report sent from the hospital, Smriti Nagar police sent the case diary to Mohan Nagar police station. The Mohan Nagar police started investigating the case on August 7 by establishing a marg.
According to the information received from the police, Neha’s husband Dinanath Singh was an auto driver. Both have two small children. Dinanath used to doubt Neha’s character. There used to be a family dispute between the two on this matter. Fed up with this, Neha tried to commit suicide.
