Fierce fire broke out in a three-storey clothes shop
Bilaspur. A fierce fire broke out in a three-storey cloth shop in Bilaspur, due to which clothes worth lakhs of rupees kept in the shop were burnt to ashes. There is a possibility of fire due to short circuit. The fire was so fierce that the flames were visible up to two kilometers away. The fire brigade has brought the fire under control at five in the morning. The incident is of Chakarbhatha police station area.
There is a readymade clothes shop in the Chakarbhata camp in the name of Kishanchand Tahalyani’s Krishna Society. On Thursday night, the operators and employees closed the shop and went home. Then around 12 o’clock in the night, people saw that flames were rising from the shop along with smoke. He informed the shop operator as well as the people around him about the incident. Along with this, the police was informed about the incident.
By the time a crowd of people reached there, the fire had reached the third floor in no time and the clothes and goods kept in the shop were burning. An attempt was made to extinguish the fire by breaking the side walls of the shop with JCB. But, the flames were not taking the name of being reduced. People kept trying to extinguish the fire from late night till morning. The team of four fire brigades brought the fire under control at five in the morning.
