Fight over property dispute, 4 people injured
Korba: A case of assault over property dispute has come to light in Korba. In this case, the victim’s family has lodged an FIR in the police station. The accused also used weapons and knives during the fight. The victim’s family is admitted in the hospital. At the same time, the police has registered the crime of rebellion in the case. The police is busy taking further action in the entire case.
Actually, this entire matter is of Katghora police station area of the district. There was a dispute going on regarding property between two brothers living here. Both lived in Sutra. However, some time ago, elder brother Santosh started living in his residence on Ambikapur Road in Katghora area. But the younger brother lived in Sutra only. He also has two shops near his elder brother’s house. Victim Santosh Jaiswal alleges that his younger brother wants to take over his house and shop. With this intention, he entered the house on Sunday and along with some goons beat up the entire family.
Santosh, his twin son, daughter and wife suffered serious injuries during the fight. The family members are admitted to the hospital after the fight. Victim Santosh alleges that his younger brother Rampratap Jaiswal has taken the help of goons. All the goons had many types of weapons. All the family members were brutally beaten by the goons. The victim’s family informed the Katghora police on Monday. After the information, the police reached the spot and saw that all the items were scattered in the house. Police have questioned nearby people about the incident. The police is continuing the investigation in the matter. Meanwhile, the victim’s family is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
