File theft, Corporation Commissioner issues notice to engineer

Jagdalpur. In Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation, Bharatiya Janata Party councilors have presented a no-confidence motion against corporation chairperson Kavita Sahu. Meanwhile, a complaint has also been lodged to investigate the construction works. During the review of construction works in this case, Commissioner Haresh Mandavi also found many negligence.

The special thing is that the file of the Mayor’s Fund of the Corporation has gone missing from the Corporation, which is worth Rs. 1.25 crore. In such a situation, it is natural to raise questions on the negligence of construction work in the corporation. Complaints of many types of irregularities in construction works are continuously coming to the fore in the Municipal Corporation. At present, the Commissioner Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to the concerned engineer and sought information about the missing file.
