FIR registered against Maulvi, case of beating of student
Raipur: Kotwali police have registered a crime under sections 323, 294, 506 and 75 (A) of the IPC against the Maulvi of the Madrasa in the case of brutally beating a student who had come for religious education with a stick. Is being investigated. Ten days ago, the Maulvi had beaten the student on suspicion of stealing headphones.
According to the police, the police have registered a crime against Arif Ali Farooqui for assaulting a 14-year-old student who had come to get education at Madrasa Islahul Muslimeen Yatimkhana located in Baijnathpara. The Maulvi is accused of beating the student with a stick on October 6. The student’s family had lodged a complaint against the Maulvi at Ramanujganj police station. The police have registered the crime on the basis of the case diary received from Ramanujganj police. Hurt by the incident of assault, the student had gone to his home without informing anyone in the madrasa. After that the Maulvi called the student’s family and informed them about leaving the Madrasa without informing anyone. On reaching home the next day, the student informed his family about the incident. After this the student’s family contacted the child helpline located in Balrampur. Child Helpline, after counseling the child, suggested his family to lodge an FIR in the nearest police station.
