Fire breaks out in Chennai shopping complex

Chennai (IANS) | A fire broke out in a famous shopping mall in Chennai’s Socarpet area on Monday. Fire tenders from Socarpet, High Court Unit and Esplanade rushed to the spot and doused the fire after two hours of struggle.

No casualties or injuries were reported in the fire, but some shops including jewelery and a medical store were completely gutted in the blaze.

The police is investigating the case The damage caused by the fire is yet to be assessed.
