Fire breaks out in Indus Hospital in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: A massive fire broke out at Hospital Indus near Jagadamba intersection in the city on Thursday, causing panic among patients and residents of the surrounding areas. According to reports, many patients were trapped in the second floor of the building, due to which thick smoke was coming out. However, there were no victims. Firefighters trying to control the fire said that the fire first broke out in the basement due to a short circuit. “Due to the afternoon heat, a fire broke out in Hospital Indus in Visakhapatnam. There were 50 to 70 patients in the hospital at the time of the incident. Logramos took everyone out. There was no one left to save. Preliminary investigation suggests that the fire may have started in the coffin. We will investigate the incident and get to the bottom of it”, said Police Commissioner Ravi Shankar Ayyanar.
