Fire broke out after massive collision between truck and hydra

Recangpio. There was a massive collision between a truck and a Hydra on Friday afternoon on NH-5 near Karcham in Kinnaur district, due to which both the vehicles caught fire. It has been reported that the truck driver (HP 63C-2942) was seriously injured in this accident. However, as soon as information about the accident was received, the team of police station Reckong Peo reached the spot.

JSW fire vehicles also reached the spot but by then both the vehicles were engulfed in flames. The seriously injured truck driver was brought to the regional hospital for treatment, who was later referred to IGMC Shimla. IO Sadhna said that the police is investigating the cause of the accident and an FIR has been registered against the truck driver.
