Fire broke out in the coach of a parked train, know the update
Puri (ANI): A massive fire broke out in a train compartment parked at the coaching depot of Puri railway station on Tuesday. The officers provided this information. Puri’s assistant fire officer said that the incident occurred at around 12.30 pm. When the train came to the coaching depot for servicing. The officer said, “Fire was reported on the washing line. Following this, fire service department personnel launched a major operation to extinguish the fire.” He told that a bogie was burnt to ashes in the fire. It is feared that the fire may have started due to short-circuit in the battery compartment. However, the reason behind the fire is not yet known. An official from the coaching depot said, “An investigation will be conducted to find out the cause of the fire. The train was being repaired. We will also review the battery status.
