Fire in hot mixing plant
Ranchi. Information has been received that a sudden fire broke out on Friday in the high temperature (asphalt) mixing plant of the Road Construction Company (RKTC) next to the university in Majhianhu police station area of Garhwa district. As soon as the fire broke out in Majhianhu police station area, the operator and four workers of the mixing plant ran away to save their lives. Meanwhile, Gerfa Fire Station received a report from company employees and Mazian Police Station. Just then a fire engine arrived and started extinguishing the fire. However, by this time the entire mixing plant had burnt down.
In this regard, the company’s Managing Director Ashok Kumar Yadav said that the fire broke out due to short circuit in the hot mixing plant. Then he called the fire department. The company suffered a loss of more than Rs 50 lakh due to the fire. On receiving information about the fire, senior Nagar Panchayat officials Shailesh Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Sinha, SI Ranjit Kumar and ASI Chandrashekhar Azad of the police station contacted the police and took information about the fire.
