Firecracker worth Rs 33 lakh seized, was stored illegally in residential area
Korba. On the instructions given by Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla to take effective action against illegal activities/illegal explosive substances in view of the upcoming assembly elections 2023, Deepka police team under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, City Superintendent of Police Robinson Guriya and under the leadership of Station Incharge Deepka Ashwani Rathore. It has been successful in taking action against those storing illegal firecrackers.
According to the information, the police had received information that Mahesh Aggarwal has illegally stored firecrackers in the residential area of Katghora Road, Deepka, which is dangerous for the general public, taking immediate action on this, Rs. 30,00000 was recovered from the house of the accused on Katghora Road, Deepka.
60 different cartoons worth Rs./- were recovered from different crackers of different companies. Similarly, 06 cartoon firecrackers were also recovered from Shubham Aggarwal and Tarachand Aggarwal of Katghora Road Deepka, a total of 66 cartoon firecrackers worth approximately Rs 33,00000/- were seized and booked under Section 286 IPC. And the offense has been registered under 9(B) Explosives Act. In the above proceedings, Souni Parmeshwar Rathore Ashwani Nirankari, Khagesh Rathore, Pro-constable Ramratan Tandon, R. Jagjivan Kanwar, Isdaur Ekka, Sanju Srivas, Vinod Ratre, lady R. of Deepka police station. Deepa Sahu, Santoshi Khunte were included.
