First day of home voting, Voting was conducted at the homes of 1631 people
On the first day of home voting in the Assembly elections 2023, the polling team reached the homes of 1631 people in Jodhpur and got them voting. Videography of the entire process is being done to ensure that there are no complaints of any kind in this live voting.
This is the first time such an effort has been made by the Election Commission. In which the voting percentage of elderly and disabled people will increase.
District Election Officer Jodhpur Himanshu Gupta said that this time in the assembly elections, polling teams are going to the homes of elderly people above 80 years of age and people with more than 40 percent disability to vote at their homes. For this, 14 teams for 346 voters in Sardarpura Assembly, 10 teams for 228 voters in Jodhpur city, 12 teams for 315 people in Sursagar, 14 teams for 313 people in Phalodi, 14 teams for 213 people in Lohawat, 299 in Shergarh.
14 teams were deployed in Osian, 13 teams were deployed for 192 people, 13 teams were deployed for 373 people in Bhopalgarh, 16 teams were deployed for 364 people in Luni and 13 teams were deployed for 158 people in Bilara.
