Five died due to drowning in Ganga

Prayagraj. Five teenagers died due to drowning on Friday in the Ganga located in Shivkuti police station area of Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. Shivkuti police station in-charge Sanjay Gupta said that on Friday, one of the five teenagers who had come to take bath in the Ganga in the Mevrabad marsh of Shivkuti area started drowning. Four people drowned while trying to save him.
By the time divers arrived on the news of drowning and searched for them, all five were dead. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
