Five tenders received for pod taxi from Jewar Airport to Film City, today is the last day

Greater Noida: Many schemes are being brought for transportation in Yamuna Authority area. One important scheme among these is pod taxi. For this, a route from Jewar Airport to Film City is proposed. Global tender has been invited for the construction of the track. Today is the last date for submission of tender. So far five companies have submitted tenders.

The tender was floated in August. The 14.6 km long pod taxi route from the airport to the proposed Film City in Sector 21 of Yamuna City will be elevated. The construction work of the project is to be completed in three years.

Initially, the pod is expected to carry seven hundred passengers per hour. The project is estimated to cost around Rs 641.53 crore. The developer company for the pod taxi project will be selected by the end of this year. This will provide connectivity to industrial sectors. Elevated track will be built parallel to Yamuna Expressway.
