Force on alert in Bijapur, carefully evacuating polling personnel trapped there

Bijapur. Even though the first phase of voting has been completed in Chhattisgarh, the concerns of the security forces have not ended yet. Many polling parties are still stuck in Naxal affected areas, the force is making efforts to rescue them. Bijapur SP Anjaneya Varshney said, voting was completed in Bijapur amidst small and big incidents. Now the challenge is to bring back the polling parties. Along with dealing with the Maoists in ambush, the first priority is to bring all the employees safely to the headquarters.

During the voting, Naxalites were planning to carry out a major incident, to which the soldiers gave a befitting reply. Encounters also took place between police and Naxalites at many places.
