Forest department seized valuable sal and mixed wood chiran

Raipur. Under the direction of Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, continuous action is being taken by the Forest Department to prevent forest crimes, illegal collection and transportation of wood. In this sequence, 129 pieces of Chiran and a saw machine of mixed species were illegally kept in Khamharia village of Katghora forest division.

On the basis of the information of the informer, the flying squad team formed on the instructions of Forest Officer Katghora Forest Division Premlata Yadav raided the action. In the action taken by the team, 129 pieces of mixed species chiran and a saw machine were found from Soukhi Lal and Pramod’s bari of village Khamharia, whose valid documents were not with the collector. The flying squad team has registered a forest crime case and the matter has been taken into consideration.
